What is SKELL?

SKELL is a free search tool based on large text data (corpus). Users can quickly check their doubts about languages by using three different functions:

  • searching for words and phrases in their contexts
  • generating collocational candidates and grammatical behavior for a specific word
  • using thesaurus providing a list of similar and related words to a particular word.

SKELL functions are available in 6 languages: Czech, English, Estonian, German, Italian, and Russian.
