SiteMonit information
What is SiteMonit?
SiteMonit keeps an eye on web pages for you and reports back the moment their content changes. Instead of telling you only that a page moved, it places the old and new versions next to each other and marks every word added or removed, so the actual edit is visible at a glance. A Diff Axis on the divider maps each change and lets you jump straight to it, while a Text mode reads the update inline like tracked changes — removed text struck out in red, new text in green.
Pages are checked on a schedule you choose, and each check is rendered in a real browser so dynamic, JavaScript-driven pages compare correctly. Monitoring can be narrowed to a single element or region of a page, which keeps ads and rotating banners from setting off false alerts, and pages behind a login or Cloudflare can be reached through per-task scripted actions, device emulation and proxy options. Optional keyword triggers fire an alert only when chosen words appear or disappear.
Notifications go out by email, Telegram, Slack, webhook or Viber, each linking back to the diff, and the webhook delivers change details as JSON. SiteMonit is used for competitor and price tracking, restock and job-posting alerts, terms-of-service and compliance pages, SERP and SEO monitoring, and real-estate or marketplace listings. It runs on a free plan, with usage-based paid tiers that raise the number of pages, checks and check frequency.
