Simpli Show information
What is Simpli Show?
Simpli Show is a cue-based application for running live visuals across multiple screens and projectors at the same time. Instead of thinking in slides, it thinks in cues. A cue captures the exact state of every output at a given moment, meaning whatever image, video, sound, text or shape is showing on each screen, and you trigger it with a single keypress during the show. You build everything ahead of time in Edit Mode, then switch to a distraction-free, keyboard-driven Show Mode when it is time to go live.
Every production lives in a self-contained project. Media is copied into the project, so you can move an entire show to another Mac without losing any files. Inside a project you group cues into scenes (for example Act 1, Intermission, Act 2), import media in the Asset Manager, and position each asset exactly where you want it on a live visual canvas. You can route different content to each connected display with independent control, add per-monitor watermarks or logos, and set how each cue transitions using cuts, fades or crossfades with configurable durations.
Simpli Show works with five asset types: images, video, audio, text and shapes, so most shows need nothing else. It is keyboard-first, with arrow keys to navigate, space to trigger, and fully configurable hotkeys. It also keeps your operator notes and a follow-along screenplay next to the cue list, so you always know where you are in the production.
It is built for stage productions, conferences, church services and any live event that needs precise multi-screen playback. Simpli Show is a lightweight, approachable alternative to tools such as QLab and ProPresenter, powerful enough for real productions yet simple enough to just pick up and use. Available for macOS.
