What is simpleSF2?

simpleSF2 is a lightweight SoundFont player for loading and playing SF2 and SFZ libraries directly inside a DAW.

It includes a searchable preset browser, bank selection, favourites, performance controls and automatic project recall. Users can load SoundFont libraries without converting them to another format or relying on external tools.

simpleSF2 is available as an AU plugin on macOS and as a VST3 plugin on macOS, Windows and Linux. It works with compatible hosts including Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio and Reaper.

The free version supports one SoundFont library per plugin instance. A one-time paid unlock adds support for importing and switching between multiple libraries.
