if you want to make minimalistic, privacy-respecting blog this is for you, also their UI is amazing
Nope. I immediately do not trust them. Web3/blockchain is just as centralized as traditional apps are. It still remains reliant on entity running service, because unupdated apps = dysfunctional apps, period. It's not more private, even by design, instead of your data being locked in a single protected server, its distributed to many amateur's computers potentially with weak security. Web3 is simply a marketing gimmick, why do you think its the technology behind smart citys and vaccine passports? It's all a pack of lies, and these "earn crypto while using our app" services are harvesting your computer's resources while you use them to small-scale mine bitcoin, so the true distribution is the network of people using the apps, and not just the hosts of the blockchain. Fun fact: slaves used to be sold in markets and auctioned like property. To keep the slaves from trying to escape, they were chained to a heavy stone block 🤷♂️ just sayin.
Um... your review began as a cogent, sane, point-based critique which, however, quickly veered off the rails into a rant against the crypto-currency ecology. I have upvoted your comment for the sole cogent point that you made right at the start.
For the rest of the review, why not use Sigle and make a post about it there? That'd be sweet irony, no?
