What is shoutr?
Shoutr is an easy to use wireless solution which allows users to transfer data of any kind between Android powered devices. What is unique about this solution is that it works without an internet connection or pre-existing network infrastructure. All that is needed are two or more devices equipped with Wi-Fi technology. Because shoutr makes use of the fast data-transfer capacity of Wi-Fi it is much faster than Bluetooth and has a wider range. Best of all, shoutr is secure. All data which a user wants to share with other users can be protected by a password, pin or similar. Thus only people in the know may access the data made available.
