Shared Lists is a collaborative list app that works without an account. You open the site,
create a list, and send the link — whoever receives it can add, check off and re-sort items
immediately. No sign-up, no email address, no password, no app store download on either side.
Changes sync live over WebSockets, so everyone looking at the same list sees edits as they
happen. It installs as a PWA on iOS and Android if you want an icon on your home screen, but
the browser works just as well.
The free version covers shopping lists, to-do lists, packing lists, wishlists and group orders:
unlimited items, live sync, owner/participant roles, re-sorting, and a reset-all-items action.
Pro unlocks per-list extras — adding items from a photo, item search, custom sorting, simple
calculations, moving or copying items between lists, editing list names, push notifications,
shared and transferable ownership, and fine-grained participant rights (you decide whether
participants may add, edit, check, re-sort, rename, or even see each other).
Pro is a one-time payment, not a subscription: €1.99 to upgrade a single list, or €19.99 once
for a lifetime coupon that covers all of your lists. Multi-list bundles sit in between.
Privacy is the other half of the pitch. There is no account, so there is nothing to identify
you with — your lists live in your browser's local storage plus on the server so link
recipients can reach them, and you are identified only by a randomly generated code. No name,
no email, no IP address stored alongside it. An optional server backup saves list names and
IDs only, never contents, and you can drop it by clearing one cookie. Passkeys are available
if you want your own lists to follow you across devices.
Available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. Over 30,000 lists
created so far.
