Shades Alternatives
Shades is described as 'FREE utility for controlling the brightness of your screen. It runs in the background providing always-available fine-grained control over the brightness of your display via a slick Mac-like interface' and is an app. There are eight alternatives to Shades for Mac and Windows. The best alternative is myPoint Shade. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try EasyOnTheEyes or Nocturne. Other great apps like Shades are ScreenDimmer, Dimmer Than Dim, Day Night and Simple Screen Shade.
