What is SFTP.cloud?

SFTP.cloud is a managed SFTP, FTPS and web file transfer service from Syncplify, the team behind Syncplify Server!. We run the front door (protocols, user accounts, certificates, bans and the audit trail), so you never have to install, patch or monitor a file transfer server yourself.

Your files stay on storage you own. SFTP.cloud does not hold your files. A Storage Connector, installed next to your storage on Windows, Linux, macOS, FreeBSD or Docker, connects your disk, network share, Amazon S3 bucket, Azure container, Google Cloud bucket or another SFTP server. The Connector dials out, so no inbound firewall rules are needed.

Simple access for partners and users. Give each user access to named virtual file systems, with permissions set on your own Connector. Users connect with any SFTP or FTPS client, or through a branded web client in the browser. They can also create share links, so people without an account can upload or download files. Two step sign in is mandatory.

Evidence an auditor can trust. Your Connector keeps a signed, tamper evident record of what your machines did. Once recorded, the log cannot be rewritten without the difference being provable. This helps teams working under SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI or GDPR requirements.

Automation built in. Event handlers run SyncJS scripts on your Connector when something happens, for example after a file is uploaded. Scripts can also move files to and from SFTP, FTP, FTPS, S3, Azure Blob and Google Cloud Storage.

Predictable pricing. A flat monthly price instead of usage-metered billing, with a free trial on your first site.
