Severn Planner is a free school planner for students. It pulls in your assignments and grades from Canvas, Schoology, Google Classroom, or Blackbaud, estimates how long each one will take, and schedules study sessions into the free time you actually have.
Tap Plan My Week and Planner books study sessions around your practices, clubs, work, and sleep, splitting bigger projects across several days. Drag any session to a new time, and Replan keeps the ones you moved.
Features:
- School sync through a free Chrome extension. Planner never sees your school password.
- Time estimates based on how long that kind of work has taken you in that class.
- Exam mode: add an exam with the class and date, and Planner plans a review for each topic, a practice test, and a recap the day before, under a daily limit.
- Grade predictor and GPA goal: see what you need on the remaining work to hit the grade you want.
- Personal goals, like running 3 times a week or college essays 2 hours a week, are scheduled alongside schoolwork.
- Quick Add turns plain English like "Lab report Friday Chemistry" into an assignment.
- Study timer, reminders before work is due, streaks, and weekly study stats by class.
- An optional passphrase encrypts your planner on your device (AES-256) before it is saved.
- Free for students, with no ads.
Planner runs in any browser and as a free Mac app (macOS 14 or later) that adds a menu bar timer, widgets, actionable notifications, Spotlight, Siri, and Shortcuts.
Blackbaud sync currently supports one school's portal. Canvas, Schoology, Google Classroom, and manual entry work for any school. Planner is an independent student project and is not affiliated with any school or platform it works with.
