Serifu

Serifu is an AI manga translator for readers. Drop a raw volume (a folder of pages, a CBZ or ZIP, a PDF, or the images) and every page comes back translated and lettered into its own bubbles, in a comic face, exactly where the original text was.

• A whole volume at once: pages are translated in reading order, each read with the two pages before it, so speakers, names and numbers stay right across the volume.
• Lettered into the bubbles: each line is set inside its bubble's own shape, not pasted over the art in a box.
• Fix a line, see it lettered: click a line, change the translation or turn it off, and the page is lettered again.
• Nothing to install: it runs in a browser tab on any laptop. No graphics card, no models, no API keys.
• Reads Japanese (vertical and horizontal), Korean, Chinese and English; translates into English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean.

The Serifu app for macOS and Windows adds Retouch this page (text drawn on the art cleaned away and the translation set in its place), Box, read and translate for a line that was missed, and every line's font, size, spacing, colour and outline as controls you can change. Export as CBZ, PDF or images.

Pricing: 1 credit a page. 5 pages free when you sign up; credit packs from $5.99 for 100 pages; credits never expire; no subscription.
