What is Selftend?
Selftend is a free, open-source, non-profit self-help app. It offers guided CBT and ACT exercises (thought records, worry journal, graded exposure, defusion, values work) alongside eight everyday tools: mood check-in, journal, breathing, grounding, gratitude, meditation, sleep, and habits.
It is modular - you enable only the parts you want - and reminders exist only if you turn them on. There are no ads, subscriptions, or paywalls, and the project is developed in the open under the AGPL-3.0 license. Sensitive entries are encrypted at rest, and data export and account deletion are built in.
Selftend is guided self-help, not therapy, diagnosis, or crisis support. Available on the web, Android, and iOS, in English and Bulgarian.
