Selectrace replaces the shared spreadsheet that engineering teams use to choose vendors, tools and technologies.
Define weighted criteria grouped by category, or start from a built-in library covering ALM, PLM, ERP, CRM, cloud providers, CI/CD, test management, MES, WMS, IDEs, observability, BI, MBSE, industrial robots and more. Add the products to compare, from the product library or by hand, and assign evaluators with due dates.
Evaluators score each product from 1 to 5 and comment on every score. They can work together in real time, or in blind mode: each person scores independently, the system averages the votes and highlights divergences, and a reviewer can override any value during reconciliation.
Selectrace computes a weighted ranking, overall and by category. When the team decides, it freezes criteria, weights, scores, comments and risks into an immutable decision record with approver, date and rationale, exportable to PDF.
Every change is recorded in an append-only audit trail, per project and per organization. Projects follow an explicit workflow (setup, evaluation, review, decided, archived) and are locked once evaluation starts, so the outcome holds up in an audit or a design review.
Also included: multiple organizations per user with isolated data, roles (Owner, Admin, Evaluator, Viewer), a per-product risk register, in-app and email notifications, and Google sign-in.
Selectrace is in public beta and free to use; the first 10 organizations get 6 extra free months after the beta.
No comments or reviews, maybe you want to be first?
