What is Seed-Vault?
Most people store their seed phrase on paper or a plain metal plate. Anyone who finds it can drain your wallet instantly.
SeedVault encrypts your seed phrase with AES-256-GCM before you store it. The result is a QR code — without your password, it's completely unreadable.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is ever sent to a server. It works offline. The entire tool is a single HTML file you can download and use forever.
Features:
- AES-256-GCM encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation (600,000 iterations)
- Works 100% offline — disconnect before encrypting if you want
- Steganography — hide your backup inside a normal image
- BIP39 compatible — works with any wallet
- Optional: get your encrypted QR laser-engraved on fireproof stainless steel or titanium
Free forever. No account. No tracking. MIT license.
