What is Searxly?
Searxly is a privacy-respecting native macOS & iPhone browser built with SwiftUI and WebKit. It runs your own private SearXNG instance on your own machine — a signed SearXNG runtime is bundled right inside the app. Your queries never go through a third-party search frontend: your local instance forwards them directly to the upstream engines (Startpage, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Brave), with no accounts and no telemetry. In Maximum Privacy mode, that engine traffic can additionally be routed through Tor or a VPN so the engines never see your IP either.
