What is Scrintal?
Too many people struggle with visualizing how their thoughts connect to each other. Scrintal is a web app that combines visual mind mapping with the power of networked note-taking. Users can get crystal clear in their thinking, write creatively and share their findings easily.
That way people can see both the high-level overview and details of their notes at a glance while building their knowledge base.
Almost all mind maps are designed for meeting short-term needs such as team workshops, brainstorming or ideating sessions. That is why small text boxes or post-it notes do the work. However, they're not designed to build a sustainable knowledge base.
In Scrintal, users can write and add as many images or media in Scrintal as they want, and connect each page with backlinks. People can organize their knowledge with tags which paves the way to building a long-term knowledge base that becomes even more meaningful over time.
They can add any types of files including PDF, videos, images, tweets and consume that content in one place without losing their place & flow by working across multiple apps.
Compared to other note-taking tools, it is a lot easier to see the connections between thoughts on an infinite canvas. Besides one can work on multiple cards (aka pages) simultaneously which helps keep the flow.

Scrintal is awesome for visually organizing your information. It's a great blend of mind-mapping and knowledge management. The ability to see everything organized visually is fantastic.
Scrintal puts a new spin on PKMs with bi-directional linking, making my note relationships more visual. It is not a fully mature app yet, but I already find it very useful for writing and connecting my notes.
