A very useful tool for saving the webpages with perfect or near perfect fidelity. Highly recommended, especially given the fact that the copied pages can easily be transferred to other disks or devices, and can be viewed even on computers that do not have the ScrapBook extension installed.

I think the folders make it easier to organize articles than pocket's tagging system. Plus the notes help remind me where I left off for long articles.

I find this extension for Pale Moon (the browser) works better than HTTrack or WebCopy and is easier to understand. I was able to download a website with this that I couldn't with WebCopy.
Still works in June 2020.
I find ScrapBook X is very useful for saving the exact copies of select few pages, while HTTrack is better at handling large sites, but sometimes fails to save them adequately. ScrapBook rarely gives unexpected results.
This extension by Danny Lin steal personal information and passwords. Beware!
ScrapBook X never send personal information to any remote. It's an open source project and has tons of forks. If you really find such issue please point out what code is doing this, and we'd like to fix it.
Never happened to me. The tool does what it's supposed to - it only saves the page and doesn't make any weird or unnecessary connections.

More importantly, Pocket spies on its users whereas ScrapBook X does not. Once saving is finished, it is fully offline.
