    Scrcpy may be a great app for what it does, however, what it does not do is produce a desktop like interface when you plug your phone directly into a screen, which is what Dex does. Scrcpy is not like Dex

    Not even remotely what DeX does. This is just an alternative to having the display and input handled by another device. DeX is about using the phone as a replacement for a computer to provide a full desktop experience by itself. This is a remote desktop like server, but has nothing to do with DeX.
