    Saladin is described as 'open source dual-pane file manager for Windows which merges the capabilities of Windows Explorer with the well known and easy to use orthodox user interface' and is an app in the File Management category. There are more than 50 alternatives to Saladin for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, BSD and PortableApps.com. The best alternative is Double Commander, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Saladin are Total Commander (Freemium), Midnight Commander (Free, Open Source), Dolphin File Manager (Free, Open Source) and XYplorer (Paid).
