Runo information
What is Runo?
Runo is a running metronome and cadence trainer for iOS, Android, and Apple Watch, built by two runners.
Set a target cadence (120-220 SPM) and run to a precise beat or silent haptic pulse. Unlike general-purpose musician metronomes, Runo is designed for running: the beat mixes under your music, podcasts, or audiobooks on long runs, and the standalone Apple Watch app lets you start a session from the wrist and pace by haptics alone, with no phone and no audio needed.
Runo also tracks every run's cadence, pace, and heart rate, and syncs to Strava, so you can see whether your cadence work is actually sticking over weeks of training. Interval and training modes help raise your step rate gradually (the safe way: a few percent at a time), which reduces overstriding and impact per stride.
Free version available; Runo Pro is $4.99/month or $29.99/year.
