What is Rumo?

Rumo is a self-hosted video meeting platform designed for small teams, classes, families, and private meetings.

Participants can join through a link without creating an account. Audio and video use peer-to-peer WebRTC, while the server handles signaling and room state.

Rumo includes video and audio calls, screen sharing, background blur, virtual backgrounds, noise suppression, chat, local recording, meeting PINs, waiting rooms, host controls, polls, whiteboards, breakout rooms, custom branding, embeddable meetings, and webhooks.

It can be deployed with Docker Compose and includes an installer for Linux and Windows, with optional automatic HTTPS through Caddy.
