What is RPGMapEditor?
RPG Map Editor is an online map-making tool for tabletop RPG players, Dungeon Masters, and worldbuilders who need fast, editable battle maps without installing desktop software.
Use it to create fantasy encounter maps, dungeons, taverns, roads, caves, wilderness scenes, and tabletop handouts directly in a modern browser. The editor supports terrain painting, props and stamps, labels, grid-based layouts, saved projects, demo maps, and PNG export.
RPG Map Editor is especially useful for D&D, Pathfinder, OSR games, Roll20, Foundry VTT, and other virtual tabletop workflows where a clean battle map image is needed quickly.
Current export support focuses on PNG files for VTT upload or printing. Native Foundry scene JSON, Roll20 dynamic lighting, wall export, and door export are not currently supported.
