After installation I did find WebLynx is absolutely not intuitive. Hope I have the time to search for documentation.

What is Rons WebLynx?

Rons WebLynx is a Windows desktop application for collecting, organizing, and managing bookmarks, web research, and online resources.

Many people start with browser bookmarks, but over time useful websites, articles, tutorials, documentation, reference material, and project resources can become difficult to keep organized. WebLynx provides a central place to store and manage these collections.

Unlike cloud-based services, WebLynx stores data locally on your computer, giving you full control over your collections and keeping them independent from online services.

Resources can be organized using folders, tags, notes, ratings, and groups. Existing browser bookmarks can be imported easily using the External Bookmarks panel, while additional links can be collected from documents, web pages, Outlook, local files and folders, complete websites, and the clipboard.

As collections grow, WebLynx provides tools to help keep them organized. Search, filtering, custom views, duplicate detection, and link validation make it easier to find information and maintain large collections over time.

For users who regularly gather large numbers of resources, Automatic Link Filing can automatically tag, categorize, and organize newly added links according to custom rules. RSS and Atom feeds can also be monitored through Active Folders, allowing new content to be collected automatically from blogs, news sites, and other regularly updated sources.

Additional features include Quick Add, Quick Links, secure notes, import and export capabilities, and support for multiple independent collections.

Some people use WebLynx as a bookmark manager. Others use it to organize research, manage project resources, maintain reference collections, or simply keep track of useful information discovered on the web. Whatever the purpose, WebLynx provides a structured and flexible way to collect, organize, search, and manage web-based information.
