What is Rollport?

Rollport copies the photos and videos from your iPhone to a folder on your computer, over a USB cable. Each time you connect the phone, it copies only what is new, even after you delete or move older files in the folder. Nothing on the phone is changed or deleted.

Files keep their original format: HEIC, ProRAW, Live Photos, video, GIF and camera RAW, never converted. Rollport can sort them into year and month folders, give them dated names, or follow a name pattern of your own. You can choose a date range and leave out videos, photos or Live Photo videos.

You can stop an import at any time and continue it later. If you unplug the phone during an import, nothing is lost. Rollport remembers which folder each iPhone imports into.

It is free and open source, needs no account and works offline. It does not use iCloud and installs nothing on the phone.
