this works well, already tried it on 3 sansa devices. Rockbox is way better; It worked flawlessly on linux but gave me problems on Win8 when I tried to "Autodetect" my device. I set usb mode to MSC and searched and selected my device manually and it worked.

Awesome firmware. Very easy to install, support for free codecs like Opus, Vorbis and FLAC. Works great on Apple iPod nano 2. Generation.
