I'm always happy when multiple apps with their own features can be replaced by an all-in-one solution. This app has everything you need to secure your connection and self-monitor incoming and outgoing connections. It also includes features that most apps would charge for, and it might just become my favorite.

What is RethinkDNS?
An OpenSnitch-inspired firewall and network monitor + a pi-hole-inspired DNS over HTTPS client with blocklists.
In other words, RethinkDNS has two primary modes, DNS and Firewall. The DNS mode routes all DNS traffic generated by apps to any user chosen DNS-over-HTTPS or DNSCrypt resolver. The Firewall mode lets the user deny internet-access to entire applications based on events like screen-on / screen-off, app-foreground / app-background, unmetered-connection / metered-connection; or based on play-store defined categories like Social, Games, Utility, Productivity; or additionally, based on user-defined denylists.

The best firewall for Android. It allows to hav firewall + VPN + Ad Blocker and more in one device. Tons of features my favorite is to block (isolate) apps with trackers and only allow the necessary urls to work. It has support for DNS over Https (personally I use NextDNS) Support WireGuard VPN configuration .
A life saver for privacy nerds

A few minor bugs, but the complete package: per-app IP/hostname white/blacklist firewall, DNS over HTTPS, per-app Tor, stats, custom settings, etc.
Best firewall for Android, it's feature packed. Network monitor, firewall, DNS resolving options, rules, adblocking filters,...
I am testing but I have found only this product that freely combines firewall, monitor connection and DNS choice, a full suite utility. I appreciate the possibility to block the ip address or the whole app engaging in internet traffic, the monitor feature is superb!
