ResumeCommand is a web app that tailors an existing resume to a specific job
posting rather than building one from scratch.
You import a master resume once, from a PDF or DOCX, and it becomes the single
source your applications are generated from. To apply somewhere, you paste the
URL of the posting. ResumeCommand reads that posting, extracts its hard skills,
responsibilities, and nice-to-haves, and scores your master resume against it
before generating anything, broken down by skills coverage, experience level,
keyword overlap, and domain relevance.
When you generate, it rewrites your professional summary and your work bullets
around that specific role, reorders your skills by relevance to it, and reports
exactly what it changed: how many bullets were rewritten, which skills were
surfaced, how many keywords were added, and how far the match score moved. It
repositions the history you already have and does not invent experience you
have not listed.
The result renders into one of 13 resume templates with a live preview of the
real document, page breaks included, and exports as an ATS-parseable PDF.
Other features:
- Cover letter generation from the same master resume and job posting
- Saved job searches that scan boards such as LinkedIn and Welcome to the
Jungle on a schedule, deduplicate results, and score each listing against
your master resume
- A public resume page you can share as a link
- A browser extension
- Full English and French interface and output, including French-language
tailoring of French postings
Pricing is freemium. The free plan is permanent, requires no payment method,
and tailors 5 resumes per month. Paid plans start at 9 EUR per month and raise
the monthly limit and the number of saved job searches you can run at once.
