I use btop++ in the terminal and have no plans to change but if I wanted a GUI based system resource monitor it would definitely be Resources. This is a solid resource monitor and very configurable.

I have used only Gnome system monitor until today, but I just found two nice apps - Resources and Mission Center. Both have simple and clean UI, and provide basic system information which had to be found one by one.

Great tool for entry-level users coming from Windows to Linux. Nice and simple UI.
