Rendobar is a serverless media processing platform for developers. Submit a job through a REST API and receive the processed output URL, with progress updates delivered through webhooks or realtime events. No servers to provision, manage, or scale.
The FFmpeg job type gives you direct access to the FFmpeg binary and its full set of flags, rather than limiting you to predefined presets. Additional job types support compression to a target file size, burned-in subtitles, word-level animated captions with automatic transcription and translation, multi-layer timeline composition with transitions and audio mixing, media inspection with ffprobe, and image generation, editing, and upscaling.
Jobs run on CPU or NVIDIA L4 GPU infrastructure, with hardware-accelerated H.264, HEVC, and AV1 encoding. Free-tier jobs can run for up to one hour, while Pro jobs can run for up to nine hours. Usage is billed per second of compute from a credit balance.
Rendobar provides an OpenAPI-documented REST API, an official TypeScript SDK, a CLI, an n8n community node, and an MCP server that exposes media processing capabilities as native tools for AI agents such as Claude and Cursor.
