Read-only monitoring for PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle learns hourly baselines for databases and statements, then ranks performance drift by extra database time. It includes plan history, testable fix scripts with undo steps, pre-checks, charts, and plain-English queries.

PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle side by side. Each card shows load against what's usual for that hour, uptime, when data last came in, and the most serious finding.

What is ReinDB?

ReinDB is a read-only database performance monitoring tool for PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle, including self-managed databases and Amazon RDS or Aurora. It establishes hourly baselines for databases and statements, identifies deviations, and ranks them by additional database time.

Performance flags include plan history and a fix script that can be tested and reversed step by step. Its Pre-check feature evaluates queries, procedures, and DDL changes before deployment, returning Pass, Review, or Risky results. Ask answers plain-English questions with charts based on collected measurements.

ReinDB does not modify monitored databases or require software installed on them. It uses one read-only login per database and does not require Oracle Diagnostics or Tuning Pack. It can run as a hosted service, onsite on Linux or Windows, or in an AWS or Google Cloud account. A free tier supports one database and one user without a time limit or payment card.
