What is Rectangle?
Move and resize windows on macOS with keyboard shortcuts. Rectangle is a window management app based on 
Spectacle Wndow Manager, written in 
Swift (programming language). Spectacle used its own keyboard shortcut recorder, while Rectangle uses MASShortcut, a well maintained open source library for shortcut recording in macOS apps. This cuts down dramatically on the number of bugs that were only in Spectacle because of the custom shortcut recorder.

FOSS, simple, convenient. I abandoned the closed source equivalent that I had paid money for, because I prefer FOSS whenever possible.

Awesome. Super customisable... I'm not using my mouse at all anymore to move windows to different screens and screen locations.
I was worried about moving from Windows to the Mac because I'd miss WindowsGrid (which is better than the built in windows management on Windows). Rectangle is way better than WindowsGrid!
Amazing alternative to Magnet. Just a really detailed free and open-source window manager give it a go I swear it will blow your mind that it is free.
HOW IS THIS FREE? 😮 Seriously. I've been using Mosaic for probably a year or more now and it's so buggy, I find I have to redo an action over and over before it 'sticks'. Rectangle just WORKS and the hotkeys are far more intuitive than any other window management tool. Fantastic tool - very happy 😃
