Receiptor AI

Receiptor AI automates the collection and bookkeeping of receipts and invoices. It connects to Gmail, Outlook or IMAP inboxes and finds financial documents in email bodies, PDF attachments and download links. It can scan past email history once, then monitors new mail in real time. Paper receipts can be sent via WhatsApp or iMessage.

Each document's data (vendor, date, amounts, tax, line items) is extracted and math-validated: totals, lines and tax must reconcile before export. Documents are categorized using the connected chart of accounts.

In Xero and QuickBooks Online, Receiptor checks for an existing matching transaction before creating one, then creates the appropriate record: a Bill, an Expense or Spend Money transaction, or a Bill with its payment. The original document is attached. When a match, tax rate or payment account is ambiguous, it asks for review and remembers the answer.

Other features include multiple business entities per workspace, team and accountant collaboration, AI-created rules, export to Google Drive, Dropbox, CSV, PDF and ZIP, and an MCP server for querying data from Claude or ChatGPT.
