Last version was released more than an year ago, on August 2012. I tried to download a video from Youtube, but it can't anymore.

I didn't even know it was offered as a product separated from
RealPlayer. Using its latest version doesn't help?
At this point I'd recommend
Freemake Video Converter or a different browser extension though.

Yeah, I'm using
Freemake Video Converter too.
I was looking for an 
Internet Explorer plugin to download video from Youtube (it's not for me, I use 
Mozilla Firefox :P), so I tried RealDownloader, but it doesn't work.
