Readspace is an open-source, privacy-focused RSS reader designed to help you stay informed without the endless scrolling.
Follow your favorite publications, independent blogs, writers, and newsletters in one place. Discover new sources through a searchable catalog of over 120,000 feeds, or add any website right from the browser extension. Everything you follow appears in a clean, chronological feed, without algorithms deciding what you see.
Readspace also offers a five-minute Daily Digest that brings together the major developments across your sources, along with a selection of articles worth reading. When you want to dive deeper, you can read articles in a distraction-free reader, save them for later, skim AI-generated highlights, summarize content, or translate articles into other languages.
Available on the web, iOS, and Android, Readspace keeps your subscriptions, reading history, and saved articles in sync. The hosted service also lets you subscribe to email newsletters and read them alongside your regular feeds.
Readspace is licensed under AGPLv3 and can be self-hosted using Docker. Its AI features are optional and can be completely disabled on self-hosted instances.
No ads, no algorithmic feed, and no selling your reading activity. Just the sources you choose, all in one place.
