Read Aloud Reader

Read Aloud Reader is a free online read aloud tool. You give it words — typed, pasted, or inside a PDF — and it reads them out loud with a neural voice that sounds like a person rather than a satnav. There is nothing to install and nothing to configure.

People use it to read articles aloud on a commute, to hear a draft read back before sending it, to get through study material hands-free, and to make reading easier with dyslexia, ADHD, or tired eyes. Every sentence is highlighted as it plays, so you can follow along on screen while you listen.

Everything runs in the browser, so the same read aloud reader works on a Mac, a Windows laptop, a Chromebook, an iPhone or an Android phone — and any audio you generate can be downloaded as an MP3 and played offline.
