RANCID Alternatives

RANCID is described as '- Really Awesome New Cisco confIg Differ. A web-based tool for automatically downloading Cisco configurations into a CVS version-control system which can be searched, displayed and "diffed" to compare versions of the configuration files' and is an app in the development category. There are nine alternatives to RANCID for a variety of platforms, including Linux, Windows, Mac, Self-Hosted solutions and PHP. The best alternative is Unimus. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try Oxidized or GenieACS. Other great apps like RANCID are NeDI, DeviceExpert, CatTools and rConfig.
