What is RadioCult?
RadioCult is a hosted platform for running a 24/7 online radio station. It replaces the usual stack of a streaming host, a desktop automation app, a scheduling spreadsheet and a separate player embed with one system that runs entirely in the browser.
The core of it is multi-presenter scheduling. Shows go on a calendar, each with its own host or hosts, and the station keeps broadcasting between them by falling back to playlists you define. Presenters get their own logins and see only what they are allowed to touch, which means a station can be run by a team spread across timezones without sharing a password or installing software. Stations on the platform range from a handful of people up to schedules coordinating as many as 400 hosts.
Every plan includes unlimited listeners, a music library with a track editor, live streaming from any encoder, a listener chat room with station-verified messages, advanced statistics and playout reports, embeddable players and schedule widgets for your own site, a read-only API for building custom station sites and apps, and a place in the RadioCult listener mobile app.
Higher plans add show recording and archival, audio normalization, AAC streaming, geoblocking, Mixcloud, Soundcloud and TuneIn integrations, white label embeds, MCP access, automation API and custom permission roles. Plans differ on storage, bandwidth, stream quality and the number of user seats, from 3 on the entry plan up to unlimited. All plans come with a 7 day free trial.
RadioCult is built by a small team in New Zealand and is used by community, student and independent stations including Worldwide FM, Kindred Radio, Oroko Radio and N10AS Radio.
