What is Quartermaster?

Your self-hosted media stack and home server, in one native iOS app. Browse, request, download and monitor everything. Private by design: no relay server, ever.

Quartermaster is a native iOS control centre for your self-hosted stack. Stop wrestling with responsive web UIs on your phone. Browse your library, request new films and shows, watch what is downloading, and monitor your servers, all from one fast, native app that feels like it belongs on iOS.

It is built around two worlds. Entertainment is your media stack: discover, request, download and manage everything across your arr apps, your media server and your downloaders. Command Centre is your home infrastructure: servers, containers, DNS, network and smart home, with health roll-ups and quick actions.

Private by design. Quartermaster is a pure client. It talks directly to the services you already run, on your own hardware, and your credentials are stored encrypted on your device. There is no Quartermaster account, no relay server, and no cloud in the middle. Your data stays yours.

Supported services Media: Radarr, Sonarr, Lidarr, Jellyseerr, MusicSeerr, Prowlarr, Bazarr, SABnzbd, NZBGet, qBittorrent, Transmission, Deluge, Jellyfin, Emby, Plex and Tautulli. Infrastructure: Portainer, Glances, Unraid, Proxmox, AdGuard Home, Pi-hole, Cloudflare, Home Assistant, Immich, AudioBookshelf, Komga, Kavita and Tdarr.

Key features

Truly unified. Your stack should not feel like separate silos. Browse a title, request it, and watch it land without ever leaving the app.

Home and away. Give a service both a local and a remote address. Quartermaster prefers your fast LAN at home and falls back to your remote route when you are out, switching automatically as your network changes.

Honest status everywhere. Counts and progress that tell the truth. Streaming counts ignore paused sessions, queues ignore stuck items, and a title shows exactly where it stands, from missing to requested to downloading to in your library.

A real media dashboard. Now Playing, Continue Watching, Next Up, Recently Added and library stats for Jellyfin, Emby and Plex, with tap-through to manage a title in Radarr or Sonarr.

Command Centre. Monitor and control Docker containers, virtual machines, DNS blocking, your NAS array and more. Live stats, logs, and start, stop and restart where it makes sense.

The Doctor. A built-in diagnostician that finds what is wrong in plain English and, where it safely can, fixes it in one tap. No SSH, no log diving.

Make it yours. App icon finishes, accent colours and a tab bar you can arrange. Home screen widgets keep your queue, upcoming releases and server stats a glance away.

Notifications, done privately. Local import and failure alerts, a daily release digest, and server threshold warnings. A built-in guide wires instant alerts through your own self-hosted ntfy first, so nothing leaves your server.
