What is QBCore?

QBCore is an open-source framework for building roleplay experiences, originally developed for FiveM (a Grand Theft Auto V multiplayer modification) where it became one of the most widely used frameworks for roleplay servers. It provides the core architecture for characters, roles, permissions, accounts, and other roleplay systems, while leaving world content and gameplay rules to individual server creators. QBCore is licensed under the GNU General Public License and is maintained by an open-source community. The project is expanding beyond FiveM into a cross-platform framework ecosystem, with a native implementation for Roblox in active development and further platforms under evaluation.
