What is Qalami?

Qalami marks student writing for schools. A teacher photographs a class set of handwritten papers, or uploads typed essays as PDF or Word files. Qalami reads the handwriting, marks each paper against the rubric the teacher wrote, and drafts the feedback. The teacher reads it, changes what they disagree with, and approves. No mark counts until a teacher has approved it.

Rubrics are written once and reused by every class set up afterwards. Reports cover a pupil, a class or a department, and writing progress is tracked across the year.

It reads and writes English and Arabic, and the whole interface is available in both, right to left included. Built for English-medium and bilingual schools, mainly in the Gulf.

Plans run monthly, for six months or for a year, from a single tutor up to a whole school. There is a free trial that needs no card.
