Psensor Alternatives
Psensor is described as 'graphical hardware temperature monitor for Linux' and is a system information utility in the os & utilities category. There are nine alternatives to Psensor for a variety of platforms, including Linux, KDE, Self-Hosted solutions, GNOME and MATE. The best alternative is Hardware Lister, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Psensor are hwinfo, Hardinfo, s-tui and Sysinfo.
Psensor alternatives are mainly System Information Utilities but may also be Benchmark Tools. hwinfo/libhd are used to probe for the hardware present in the system. It can be used to generate a system overview log which can be later used for support.

Hardinfo is a system information and benchmark tool for Linux. It shows detailed system info, including hardware, environment, and kernel. It can use lm_sensors and ACPI for temperature and battery information. It also has four CPU banchmarks and two FPU benchmarks.

The project is no longer developed. Last version, 0.5.1, released in April 2009, can be still downloaded from SourceForge.

sysinfo is a graphical tool that is able to display some hardware and software information about the computer it is run on.
