What is PS5CameraDriver?

PS5 HD Camera for PC is a free, open-source (GPL-3.0) driver for the PlayStation 5 HD Camera (CFI-ZEY1).

On Windows 11 the camera appears in every app as "PS5 Camera" at a native 1920x1080 and 60 fps. Because the camera has two sensors, the driver measures depth on the graphics card and blurs the background behind you, without AI segmentation. The blur is switched in Windows' own camera settings.

Also included: brightness metered on the person, motion-compensated noise reduction and automatic anti-flicker.

Linux: 1080p at 30/60 fps, with an experimental blur on Vulkan. macOS: 1080p at 30/60 fps, without blur.

Requirements: a USB 3 port; on Windows a graphics card with Direct3D 11.
