ProtoShare
What is ProtoShare?
ProtoShare is a web-based, collaborative wireframing and prototyping tool. It hosts a WYSIWYG drag-and-drop interface, as well as advanced components users can customize.
ProtoShare is not a Flash tool; it uses HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Web developers around the world, Fortune 500 companies, and leading interactive agencies use ProtoShare's collaborative prototyping to deliver better website and mobile experiences in less time. No software required.
What's new in Version 6.3: a community library of customizable Stencils & Widgets and an expansion component styling options.
Wireframe Websites. Prototype Applications. Prototype Mobile Apps. Iterate on your ideas, get feedback, then mark and track decisions made.

I was excited when I read the ProtoShare features. Wireframes, prototype and collaboration in a secure space. Just what I'm looking for. I clicked download button, filled out the form and watched a dozen training videos. Ready to go.
I dropped in a button onto the Page. Its fresh and shiny. That was easy. Now I need a label. I scroll three lengths of the inspector window but no entry field for the button name. Clicking didn't work. So I click again. And scroll back through the inspector. Look at more tabs and buttons. But my little button is still blank.
Similar frustration with other components. This app is fine for someone who is use to coding markup in BB Edit or Text Wrangler but not for someone who is looking for a quick prototyping tool.
The collaboration, however is everything I'm looking for. You can add different roles. Reviewers can add topics and comments and you can easily see the comments pinned to the area they pertain to. Each comment can be resolved and once they are, they can not be commented on again.
If I could Frankenstein the ProtoShare collaboration features onto a more rapid prototyping tool like Proto.io or Fluid UI and add a website format it would be just what I'm looking for.
Pros:
Cons: None, really. I think this is the best solution of it's kind right now.
Summary: I work as part of a small interactive design agency and we have used Protoshare on a few dozen projects over the last two years. It's cut our wireframing time dramatically, enabled our clients to see and interact with more pages, and helped specify tighter requirements. Pages are interactive and can be as high-or low-fidelity as you need (stock components, CSS styling, or even import images/comps). There's been no downside for us--highly recommended.
Feels like desktop software - it has the weight of a desktop app. Really like the newer cloud tools, like Proto.io, its fun and easy to use just wish it had the collaboration features of ProtoShare.
