What is project-mouse?

project-mouse sits in the Windows tray with one Start button. While it runs, it keeps the PC from sleeping and, after a set time with no input, moves the mouse a few pixels and back, so the screen lock and apps that watch idle time see activity.

It pauses on battery, while the PC is locked or while you present, and supports schedules, quiet times, start with Windows, a Ctrl+Alt+K hotkey, light and dark themes, and importing settings from Move Mouse. It is a small native app built with Rust and Tauri, has no ads or tracking, and updates itself from GitHub releases. Licensed under MIT.
