I have been using Autodesk for over 2 years and it is literally the BEST free drawing app i have found. There is literally barely anything you can't do with this app.

It is SO easy to navigate and has so many different brushes and tools! It's somewhat similar to Ibis Paint X and Procreate, but it's definitely easier to use, as someone who has tried all three apps. I would definitely recommend Autodesk SketchBook to anyone, beginner or expert.

You can do almost everything with it that you'd do with Procreate. However shading is a little harder, but you can do it after some practice.

uhada You get a classic interface with a lot of the painting and editing tools you know from Photoshop. Some limitations, but it's free (with a few ads in the menu). Personally I use Affinity Designer and Photo that are not free, but very powerful!

Medibang has very limited brushed and other ways to draw and I find it quite clunky.

For me great set of brushes, easy to use, cool tools like joining layers etc. And also beautiful and very readable design of the whole software makes it really easy to learn.

I've tried Medibang, but it's just not as good because it doesn't have very good brushes.

Because it is almost identical to procreate and it has so much brushes and you can also watch an ad to unlock the brushes that you have to pay for 18 hours! Amazing! <3

I like Ibis as an alternative because I have an android tablet and Procreate is unsupported. I don't want to get an Ipad because of the great features android comes with.

Infinite Painter can do basically everything that Procreate can. But it's more affordable. It has a large variety of brushes. I think it is a really great alternative.
