What is ProbeDeck?
ProbeDeck is a native iPhone and iPad client for engineers who operate ClickHouse clusters. It puts on-call monitoring first: running queries, replica lag, read-only replicas, parts and merges, stuck mutations, disk pressure, and cluster metrics. Engineers can find a runaway query and kill it from the phone.
Connections go directly from the device to ClickHouse over TLS or through an SSH tunnel or bastion. Credentials stay in the iOS Keychain; there is no ProbeDeck backend, proxy, relay, or account. Production badges, SQL classification, and type-to-confirm prompts protect destructive operations.
Monitoring, TLS and SSH connections, schema and data browsing, and read-only SQL are free. A one-time ProbeDeck Pro purchase unlocks KILL QUERY and KILL MUTATION, writes and DDL, the AI assistant, and multiple saved connections. There is no subscription and no advertising.
