What is PreQual?

A subcontractor prequalification platform that gives general contractors and project owners deep visibility into subcontractor risk before committing to a contract. The platform combines financial analysis, safety record evaluation, EMR tracking, and past performance scoring to produce a comprehensive risk profile for each subcontractor.

PreQual is backed by credentialed insurance professionals and financial analysts who review submissions and surface risks that automated-only systems miss. Organizations using PreQual reduce subcontractor default risk, improve project outcomes, and build defensible audit trails for every prequalification decision. The platform integrates with CertFocus by Vertikal RMS for a complete vendor risk management solution covering both prequalification and ongoing COI compliance tracking.
