Precurio is an intranet software that combines enterprise collaboration & content management with simple document management and workflow system. It is a solution designed for mid-sized (50 - 500 employees) organizations, who want a:

Some months ago I was assigned a task to find a suitable solution for our company's intranet page. It had to have information center, workflows, events page, employees information. It also needed to fulfill Marketing department design request. It was a must to have easy to use interface, for the users and for the content administrators.
It didn't take long before I found Precurio solution as a solution that has it all. There are many solutions on the market, but to those many at least one of the things required by our organization was missing.
I was surprised by flexibility of the Precurio software. It can literally do everything that one intranet page should have and more. Easy to use, easy to administrate, easy to modify are all benefits that really makes me no other but to recommend this software for anyone that wants to have complete all in one intranet solution.
Another really important matter is the patience and help we received from Precurio support. As many requests from a team for changes on the page were coming to me, the support was eager to help on any time and on any case, and this is really something I've never met before. Just by knowing now how good the support from Precurio is and how much time we spent in tweaking the page, I can freely say we have become friends. And to me it is important issue. Once we have set things up, I can only say thank you Precurio for the patience, and support provided, and I can freely say that this friendship will last in many years to come.

I have in the past years tried a number of different Intranet frameworks. I am happy to have landed on Precurio Intranet. The first time I came across it, I could not believe the listed features would function so perfectly when deployed. I decided to give it a try and installed a trial version on my Ubuntu Linux box which to my surprise went on very well. After evaluating it for about a month I decided it was time to purchase the software and do a final deployment. Our Organisation is a government institution (with 150 users) tasked with the mandate to regulate the Country's Energy sector. The Organisation's offices are located in for (4) different cities that are liked by a VPN. Servers are located at the head offices backedup by the remote DR Site.
One of the most appreciated feature is the Document Sharing which offers very good security features which can be applied to an entire folder or to a specific document. I am glad to say that when I demonstrated Precurio's Document Sharing feature and functionalities to our Records Officer, the poor guy was so exited that he had to confess the deployment of the application was going to be a solution to a number of challenges that were being faced by his section.
The other gentleman from our Technical Regulation department told me that the Document Sharing feature has been a solution to most of the department's work since they have to share a number of document within and outside the department. He said Precurio's Document Sharing, has helped him not to worry about his mail box becoming full due to the number of documents; previously shared through emails as all he receives is a link to the document(s).
Another feature is the Tasks and My Team. This feature is very useful in that it has helped me organise Task Teams into Teamrooms where they are able to share documents and exchange notes related to the task they are working on.
The Executive Committee (ExCo) Team go to the meeting without hard copies of reports as they are able to simply login and access the documents they need in the meeting. These documents by the way are secured with restricted access (username and password).
There are a number of useful features in the Precurio Intranet. The features speaks to the Precurio's Statement ("An Intranet solution that is affordable, easy to deploy, and just works"). I dont want to talk about the price and easy of deployment because it is as mentioned here http://www.precurio.com/

I have been using precurio for almost 2 years now. I did not post a review earlier because I wanted to post when I was sure. I am a developer and I tend to look at the code more and also to see how I can tweak things around.
I use precurio as an intranet solution for our organization. The Document Management System is one of those features in Precurio that my organization uses a lot. Every section in our organization has a user manual and precurio has been helpful in managing and organizing these manuals. Precurio caters for version control so if a manual is updated, its able to capture the update as a new minor or major version hence making all documents easy to access to those with access rights.
Precurio is able to integrate with the Active Directory. This was so helpful since it allows users to change their passwords from only one location and then access all resources including the intranet with the same password. This really is a big plus and means a lot for my users.
I am yet to integrate the SMS and chat features. I intend to use the chat to allow people a common place to chat from and also to drive traffic to the intranet.
I am grateful to the support team led by Brian and Stanley and those others behind the scenes. The support team was always there to support us and provide the guidance we needed.
You must be wondering why I did not give 5 stars if everything is so good. Well, there are some issues that precurio software has failed to cover for my organization. The Work flows especially management of leave could not be effected. My organization, has a system where one earns a certain number of leave days a month so one must know the number of leave days earned before they apply for leave. Currently I am not able to do it straight away from precurio so I am planning on creating a table for leave days and then use php to show the users the number of leave days remaining before enabling them to apply for leave. Hopefully I will submit another review once that is done.
My other issue is on the content management system. An article can only take one image. In this era where people love images, it would be good to allow us to insert as many pictures as possible in the article without first saving them in the gallery. Currently I found a way of having more than one image in article by first saving the image into the gallery then copying and pasting it into the article.The content management system needs to be improved.
Lastly, when adding users in the backed, one is able to view the passwords. This is a security bleach. Once again, I am grateful to the support team led by Brian and Stanley and those others behind the scenes. I believe precurio can be improved and made better.

we could not be more happier with the customer service and the product.. its easy to setup and is super easy to use once its deployed, no bugs , errors or any jive like that, .. It makes filling our forms and sharing company data very streamline!.. i would highly recommend using this product over some of the more pricey ones! .. give it a shot! . .
