What is Poweradmin?

Poweradmin is a self-hosted web interface and REST API for the PowerDNS authoritative server. It lets you manage master, slave and reverse zones, records, templates and DNSSEC keys from the browser, with bulk record editing, a record wizard and search across zones.

Access control is built in: users, groups and fine-grained permissions, per-zone ownership, LDAP, OIDC and SAML login, two-factor authentication and API keys. Changes are logged for auditing.

It integrates with infrastructure tooling through a Terraform provider, an ExternalDNS webhook and a cert-manager webhook for Let's Encrypt DNS-01 challenges. Runs on PHP with MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL or SQLite, and ships as a Docker image. Open source under GPL-3.0, started in 2002 and still actively maintained.
