What is Poster App?

Poster is self-hosted social media automation that runs 24/7 in Docker on your NAS or Linux server. It follows news on your topic (RSS feeds, Google News, X profiles), lets an AI model pick the most relevant story and write the posts, and sends the draft to Telegram with approve/reject buttons – one tap publishes it. Images come from the source article (or, in PRO, your own brand graphic); the AI writes text only. You can also write your own post once and have it adapted to every platform.

Everything is configured in a web panel: sources, schedule, AI provider (Google Gemini, or a local model through Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible API) and accounts. API keys, accounts and history stay on your machine – no subscription, no telemetry. Installation is one command; on a clean Ubuntu or Debian server it also installs Docker.
